Easter Egg Dye Tablets

In the Kitchen:

Perfect White Bread

Ingredients:

1 pkg dry yeast
1/4 cup water
2 cups milk (scalded)
2 Tbl Sugar
2 tsp salt
1 Tbl shortening
6 to 6 1/4 cups flour

Directions:

Dissolve yeast in water. Combine milk, sugar, salt and shortening and cool to lukewarm. Add 2 cups of flour and beat. Add yeast mixture and mix together. Add enough of remaining flour to make stiff dough. Knead till smooth and satiny (8 to 10 minutes). Shape into ball. Place in lightly greased bowl turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise 1 1/2 hours. Punch down and let rise again until double (45 minutes). Cut into 2 loafs. Shape into balls and let rest 10 minutes. Shape into loaf by rolling flat with rolling pin. Then roll dough like jelly roll, sealing ends and tucking under when place in 8 1/2 x 4 x 2 pan. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400* F for 35 minutes. After 15 minutes, if browning too fast, cover with foil. Let bread cool on rack or across pans.

Corned Beef Rueben
Swirled rye bread
Chipped corned beef
Hard ground mustard
Swiss cheese
Sauerkraut
Stack cheese on bread the ½ beef, a bit of kraut, more meat, more cheese and top with bread. Grill. SO YUMMY!

Kamikaze
Shot each of Vodka, Triple sec and sweet lime.
Serve on the rocks.
